Will the 96 4.0 jeep Cherokee engine interchange with any other year models?
I´m the owner of 1991 model and I have made a rebuilding, and I think that the rear shock can interchange for for all the models between 1989 and 2000
Interchange what? Parts for the V30 platform, 1990 to 1994 will. But no other make, (manufacturer) If you mean comparable cars, the Honda Accord and Nissan Altima. The Camry is relatively high-end, the only higher-end is Avalon before moving to Lexus. The Accord is higher that Civic, next you go ...
Max towing capacity, 5000 US lbs when adequately equipped, which may require engine and/or other drivetrain upgrades.
If you are asking about rear axle gears, no. The XJ has a corporate axle and the ZJ has a Dana axle.
42RE if it's an automatic, Aisin AX-15 if it's a manual.
Minimum spec at a warm idle is about 12psi. Normal is about 30 at idle. Should go 40-60 at 3000 rpm.
As there are thousands of parts all with different interchange possibilities I am going to recommend you call a local auto recycler and ask them to cross a individual part when you need to know.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 why cruise control horn and radio controls on steering wheel will not work?
Follow the harness... at some point, there'll be some type of quick connect fitting connecting it to the main harness to the CECU. That's your likely culprit.A good possibility is the "clock spring" is bad.
no it will not the 96 is the year they changed body styles , and the racks are completelydifferent and not interchangeable
it depends on the bolt patterns but don't c y not but if its a 4x4tranny it may not if the Mazda isn't a 4x4
Grand Cherokee parts would fit Laredo.

The 4L80E was introduced in 1991 in the GM C/K Trucks line-up, and remained in production through the 2009+ model year. This article also covers a variant of the 4L80E - the 4L85E, which is built to handle even heavier-duty use, and all references to the 4L80E apply to it unless otherwise mentioned.
Why is the wiring harness for a jeep Cherokee with right hand steering different than a left hand steering model?
because its a mopar. j/k most likely because main operating systems ie brakes, steering column, cruise control wiring, gauge cluster, so on is on the other side.
No they are not the same transmissions they will not mount to the motors properly but you can buy adapter kits to make them fit, here is the problem you have to make sure that the wiring harnesses will interchange 97 - 01 it is a long shot in the dark.
The Transmission Control Module for your Grand Cherokee is located under the driver side of the instrumentation console (underneath the dash) up against the fire wall near the outside of the vehicle. You should be able to see it with a flashlight as the TCM has and orange/yellow connector.
Where can you find out what other makes or models of vehicles can interchange parts with your vehicle?
Hey Kelly==A good wrecking yard will have the software to tell you this. GoodluckJoe
It will be warmer than the standard/specified 195F thermostat. I've owned mine for 230,000 miles, and it's consistently just below the 210F mark on the gauge in the winter, and just touching the low side of that mark in the summer. I trust Brian Mette's information.200-220 deg F
The Windstar most likely has a part that is breaking down when it heats up. Check the ignition coil and crank position sensor to start trying to find the problem.
Yes you can replace a brake line on that Jeep. Try to remove the bad line in one piece so you can bend the new one to match. Your local auto parts store can help you with the parts you will need. Bleed the system when you're done.
a 383 stroker is just a 400 crank in a 350 block...so yes
parking break is on or low break fluid
Not as long as the trailer doesn't exceed the towing weight limit of the tow vehicle and that the transmission is healthy to start with.
A sensor, no. If that is a feature on a 1996, it is a function of the power door lock system.
The S10 nomenclature was dropped after 1994... from that point on, it was just known as the Blazer, while the K5 was dropped and replaced by the Tahoe.Answering your question, that vehicle will have a 4L60E auto transmission... any 4L60E from 1993 to present will work, so long as it matches the v...
Can you mix P225 75R15 on one Axel and P235 75R15 on the other on a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee with part time 4 wheel drive?
There shouldn't be an issue with it when the two fatter tires are on the rear and thinner on the front, but don't mix them up left to right. We used to do this a lot when driving on sand, we put fatter tires on the front for flotation and better steering. Not if the vehicle is 4 wheel drive.
Any motor can be swapped into any other car(if it fits), BUT being that they aren't the same brand, it wouldn't be worth it. You would have to swap instrument clusters, wiring harnesses, transmissions, etc...get custom - motor mounts, exhaust, etc. and that just for starters. It would be cheaper ...
A full operating temperature it will be around 40 psi.
If the donor Jeep is the exact same year and has the exact same engine and transmission the answer is yes.
The manufacturer's recommended spark plug gap is .040".

The 2013 Mustang's 5.0 Liter will get about 5-10 more HP, while the V6 will probably remain the same. Mostly styling tweaks and the automatics will have steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The 2013 GT500 will have 650 horsepower as opposed to 550 which make the new GT500 go 200+ MPH
Yes there are Hybrids and 100% electric vehicles such as the Tesla, Ford Focus Electric, Nissan Leaf, and others.
That uses an NP31 transfer case, which has been used in models from all of the big three... as far as Jeep goes, it's been in use since 1988 on several of their models, including the XJ Cherokee, the MJ Comanche, and the ZJ Grand Cherokee.
what year interchange with a 2002 dodge ram 1500 front bumber
Many parts from 1995 and up will, but there are some which you'll need from 1998 and up, because the 'facelifted' Gen 2s had more than just a different grille put on them.
1993-1995 Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, Chrysler Town and Country with the same engine.
My 1997 pathfinder drivers seat is shot. What other year vehicle(s) has interchangeable drivers seats?
Any 1995 to 2004 should fit perfectly. And possibly a newer model may fit.
If it is a 3.1 any 1992 GM motor will work. If you are doing a motor swap from 3.1 to a 3.4 Dual Cam engine it can be done but you have to change more than the engine. The wiring harness and ECM (computer) have to be changed. Possible mounts also. If you are swapping to a newer engine (say a 1998...
if it's an automatic you can replace it with any accent automatic transmission from 1995 to 1999, you will have to change the neutral safety switch on the transmission on some trans. cheers!!!!!

The power of the engine of the 1975 Jeep Cherokee automatic is 85 mph. The power of the engine is 110 hp.
Most auto parts stores can supply you a re-manufactured engine with a decent warranty for your Cherokee. If you want "new" you will have to do business with a Jeep dealership and pay through the nose.
What is wrong if your 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee was running fine then you turned engine off now there is no power to any electrical components?
Sounds like dirty battery cables. Remove cables from battery and clean battery post and inside of cables. When these get dirty the resistance builds up an alt. Thinks battery is charged. After cleaning you may have to jump to start. Other cause could be the alt, and or battery
The 4.6 liter engines are interchangeable. However, some modifications would have to be made to the pilot bearing and some other components.
2000 jeep grand Cherokee all four of your windows don't work you don't believe it is a fuse any ideas?

Would like to put a complete 4.0 jeep motor and trans out of 2004 grand Cherokee into an old Chevy truck?
It could be done, but, IMO, not worth it. You'd be better off going with a GM small block and a 700R4 transmission.
I think that, only former ford ranger (earlier 80s) could be compatible with that engine. unfortunetly, the old mazdas fall in parts even if the engine still runs good.
Can i use a radiator from a 1995 jeep Cherokee country to replace the radiator in a 1995 jeep grand Cherokee?
Yes, only if they have the same engine.
Presumably, the V6 is going to be a Dodge engine... if you can give us the model years of each engine, it would be a lot easier to answer your question. Some combinations will bolt right up to the same transmission.. some will require adapter plates.
any of them, they have the same bolt pattern
yes but you have to switch the e c m as well and the need to be close to the same year
Could be over torqued, could be cross threaded, could be seized on there. Some chrome lug nuts have an outer steel/chromed cap that fits over a smaller lug nut. Over time the the chrome cap gets rounded off or loose and comes off and gets lost and you are left with a smaller lug nut that the facto...

I can't find a reference for the 902. The 904 will bolt up only if it has the correct bell housing on it
You cannot put any engine in this vehicle without modifications except the original engine that came in the truck. There is room for any small block V8 but you will have to make modifications.
Here is the short answer: The numbers vary based on a few different factors. An older, decently cared for Jeep Wrangler can last up to 200,000 miles meanwhile, a Jeep Wrangler in perfectly good condition with frequent maintenance can last up to 400,000 miles.
SHOULD BE, BUT YOU CAN CHECK YOUR LOCAL JUNK YARD FOR VEHICLES TO ASK THEM IF THEY INTERCHANGE, I AM SURE THEY WILL.
The golf door mechanism is set to unlock the drivers door only. This is a safety measure, it allows the driver to get into the car and control who gets into the passenger side of the car.
It's really a matter of how much work you're willing to put into it. If it can fit in the engine compartment, it can be made to work one way or another. However, using anything other than the OEM engine is going to be a LOT of additional work.. you'll probably need to replace the ECM, find either...

I am having the problem many others have had when starting their jeep gc. I turn the key to start and hear one click then it turns off. The fuel pressure regulator on a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee is part of the pump module in the fuel tank.
What parts will interchange between a 98 ford ranger XLT 4.0 extended cab 4x4 and a 94 ford ranger 3.0 extended cab2 wheel drive?
Honestly, very few, if any. 1998 was the beginning of the third generation of Ford Ranger, whereas 1994 was the second year of the Gen II models. There was much which was changed in the years between, so don't expect a high commonality of parts at all.
I have found though my experiences that 99% of the time the fuel gauge sending unit in the tank has failed.
It is located at the driver's fender side of the the throttle body.
Mounted atop the transmission tail shaft.
It is considered a full time four wheel drive vehicle.
It would depend on the trim level. The label in the driver side door jamb should list what size it was built with.
The 2002 Honda Civic came in multiple trim models. The DX Sedan for example came with factory P185/70/14 radials. The DX can be fitted with 15 through 19-inch wheel and tire combinations.
Chock the wheels, disconnect the negative battery cable.. you might need to lift the front end and put the vehicle on jack stands...It's a pretty straightforward process. You remove the wires from the starter and starter solenoid, and make note of which wires go where. Wires clustered together sh...
