Why is the carpet on 95 Dodge Ram wet?
The reason could vary. Your heater core, or your windshield could be leaking. However if you've investigated and havent found that to be the issue, I am currently working on a 94 Ram in my shop. I removed the seats and pulled the carpet, then took truck outside and hosed it down. I found the leak was coming from the third brake light. This leak would have been next to impossible to determine if I havent pulled the carpet. The carpet was wet in the front section of the cab, but with carpet out I found it was running down the inner channels of the roof and making it s way to the front of the cab without leaving the carpet in the back wet. So, that's where you may have a leak. If so, a very inexpensive gasket will fix your problem. Good luck!Positive Pete
Another possible cause of wet carpet, especially in the front of the car, when it hasn't been raining, is a leak from the heater core.Car heaters circulate coolant through the dashboard area to heat the car, and if the heater core springs a leak, coolant can drip onto the floor.
The engine block and heads are the same. The intake and exhaust manifolds are different. The transmissions do not interchange due to different control systems.
Yes, 1996 was the first year of the electronic governor.
Fold the carpet away from the wet carpet padding.Use the wet/dry vacuum to suck as much water from the padding as you can.Stomp on the padding with a clean shoe to force water to the top and vacuum it away with the wet/dry hose.Keep all electrical cords away from the water or wet padding.
The Ram brand was created following Chrysler's acquisition by Italian automaker Fiat, and the plans called for Dodge switching to an exclusively car-based lineup with all pickup and future heavy-duty trucks by Chrysler being sold under the Ram brand. This started in the 2009 calendar year.
Are Dodge and Ram the Same Thing? In 2009, the Chrysler Group restructured the Dodge brand.Cars and minivans went under the Dodge nameplate, while its trucks, the Dodge Ram and Dodge Dakota, became Ram trucks.Since the 2010 model year, Ram has been a separate part of the same company that focuses...
No. The control solenoid and sensors are not the same.
If it is wet from water, I would suspect the drain for the condensation water is plugged with crud disturbed while changing the cabin filter. If it is wet from engine coolant, I would suspect a leaky heater core.
Bring to a shop that has an ABS scanner to determine the problem
Method 1 Getting Rid of Excess Moisture Bring your car into a garage or covered area to keep it dry. Leave your car windows or doors open in an enclosed space to help moisture evaporate. Sop up pooling water with a microfiber towel. Vacuum in your car with a wet/dry shop vac to suck up exce...
It's built into the alternator.
the most common thing this time of year is the thermostat. it may be stuck open or be too hot of a thermostat. i use a 195 degree in summer then put in a 180 in the winter. also check the heater core and housing. the heater core may be bad or clogged or maybe the housing is full of debree this ha...
Because you ran out of gas, same with every car that runs on gas.
Dodge uses a plastic wiper bushing (ball and socket type) that connects the motor and linkages. It is designed to break before other more expensive parts, it can wear/dry out overtime. You can check by removing the wiper arms then cowl cover. You can check if it wore/popped off, it is loose, the ...

They are screwed into the sides of the heads, just above the exhaust manifolds.
On the rear of the left (driver's side) cylinder head
There is no such thing on a Dodge pickup.Assuming you mean the front axle 4WD actuator, it is on the passenger side of the front axle housing.
Read your question. It makes no sense at all. Fitting a wheel on a wheel is impossible. What are you wanting to know? Me thinks you may be asking if you can install 20 " wheels on a vehicle that came with 17" wheels. The answer would be yes, with the correct size tire.
where is the camshaft sensor on a 2006 dodge ram 5.7 litre
A 2004 Ram does not have a body computer. The cluster and under hood fuse box handle those functions.
front passenger side of engine block
Gas engine is inside the fuel tank. Diesel is on the driver side of the engine.
It's called the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and it is located under the hood, in the firewall, passenger side and has several large electrical plugs attached to it.
Should be under the hood, on the firewall. It's about the size of a deck of playing cards with a small two wire plug snapped into it.
The only adjustment is the preload on the pitman shaft.
Driver side of engine block. It is the bright silver box below the fuel filter area.
The 1995 Dodge 1500 RAM pickup truck air conditioning low pressure switch is located on the top of the accumulator.
Looking at the front of the engine, the MAP Sensor on a 2006 Doge Ram 1500 is located is just to the right of the EFI or Electronic Fuel Ignition (what used to be the carburetor). There are two sensors located here plugged into the EFI. The MAP Sensor is the second one in from the front.
Yes, a 1999 Dodge Ram Pickup does have a fuse for the cruise control. It is a "MIN10" style fuse - a small, flat, two-blade, red-colored fuse.
A 1996 Dodge Ram does not use a mass airflow sensor. It has a MAP sensor mounted in front of the throttle body.
In the pump, connected to the carbon canister, under the cargo bed, infron of the fuel tank
It is a vacuum reservoir. It helps maintain a constant vacuum supply to the HVAC system when engine vacuum is temporarily not sufficient.
Yes, the transmission from a 1996 Dodge Ram 3.9L will fit into a 1997 Dodge Ram 3.9L. They will both have to be automatic, or manual shift, though.
Yes it does fit the 1987 model. The body style ran from 1981-1994 so any of those years (1/2ton,3/4 ton,1 ton) will fit each other.
One or a number of the following things could cause condensation inside the car: Wet clothes/shoes/pets – water on these items will slowly evaporate into the cabin air or, if heavily soaked, cause the seats and carpet to become wet.A water leak.No circulation of fresh air.
The windshield leaks on drivers side of car the carpet is wet even when you wash the car how would you go about fixing this?
The usual cause is a bad seal around the windshield or body rust under the seal. The windshield needs to come out and bodywork done or the seal replaced.
Replace the coolant temp sender.
Assuming you want it to blow hot, it could be low on coolant, a stuck open thermostat, a plugged heater core or a faulty temp blend door.
The blend door actuator motor is located on the bottom of the plenum box on the passenger side towards the transmission tunnel. It is easy to remove and examine the motor to blend door connection. The blend door on the Ram is made of metal and seldom breaks. The problem is more likely the plastic...
Answer Yes, they are totally different. The speedometer signal comes from the rear axle abs sensor.
There are three plugs on this transmission. The forward plug is for the neutral safety/reverse right switch. The middle plug is for the overdrive/torque converter solenoids and governor sensor. The rear most plug is the output speed sensor.
The voltage regulator is responsible for regulating alternator output. Look at the volt gauge in the dash. If it is too high generally that means that the regulator is bad. Take the truck to Autozone and have them check it for you. They offer this service free of charge and will do it on the truck.
They'll probably stay the same for a few more years.
Remove the inside door panel. Remove the linkage from the actuator. Remove the retaining nut from the actuator. Reverse the process to install the new actuator.
Anywhere in the "Normal" range. Gauges are not an exact science - just an indicator As long as they are not at one extreme or the other you should be OK
A fault in the ABS system. Could be a bad sensor, damaged agitator ring, fault in the wiring, or a computer fault. There are codes in the ABS module that will help pin point the source of the problem. Your local auto parts store can help you with that at no cost.
Carefully count the teeth on both gears and divide the pinion number into the ring number (of teeth) and you will get a number like 3.55.That number you get will be the gear ratio.Another idea is to look at the front differential for a tag.The front would be the same ratio.
The bottom of the seats fold up.
The tach signal comes out of the pcm. The pcm watches the crankshaft position sensor to calculate engine speed. The crankshaft position sensor is behind the starter.
To find out if the vehicle has limited slip differential, check the tag in the glove box. If the tag has the code DSA or says the gear ratio with the words limited slip, it does.
I can Not understandNot enough info. Need to know the year, model and type of suspension it has, with independent suspension or with link/coil suspension.
When a transmission warning light on any vehicle turns on, it can mean a few things that will spell trouble if not checked right away. One cause is a bad sensor or the fluid is so over used, which is not so serious, and a scheduled fluid/filter change usually fixes the problem. If the color of th...
Vehicle speed sensor (VSS) is usually found on the tail end of the transmission. Front wheel speed sensors are found at each front wheel and the rear wheel speed sensors are found either at each rear wheel or at the rear differential.
I believe it's a 7/8-14x1" shoulder bolt, though I'm not 100% certain.
the tires are made of rubber. when rubber gets wet, it gets slippery, which means less friction from the tires to the ground, making it easy for the car to keep going instead of stopping. also, a car is very heavy, so momentum definitely kicks in ALOT.think of it this way. car tires that are dry ...
I think you are asking why your van wont rev past 3000 RPMs. The problem is, there are man possible reasons. Could be clogged fuel filter, or bad catalytic converter, or bad spark plugs, bad wires, cracked distribute cap. There are probably 100 reasons this could happen. Would be helpful for you ...
Why would my 4x4 not work in my 1995 dodge ram 1500. it is an automatic with 4x4 gear shift on the floor?
Most of the dodge pickups around that year had vaccum engagement on the front end. The diaphrams would blow out or the supply line to them would get holes in them. with the engine running and the shifter in four wheel drive pull the line off the diaphragm and see if the is vaccum there.
Change the fuel filter and if that doesn't do it have the cat convertor checked out. fuel filter in tank one unit run you about 250. bad cat can be determined by a rotten egg smell from exhaust
Can also be you are using the wrong bulb. You have a short to ground in the marker light circuit. You probably have a short in the wiring somewhere.

The pressure regulator is part of the assembly, that round thing on the top of it, where the fuel line connects. YouÊneed to crawl under the truck to take a look, if there is a fuel leak it would smell all the time.
It is not possible to answer this questionMany Block heaters are installed by the dealer. This means that they can be installed into any casting plug hole by the tech. They are easy to see. Lay under the truck and you will see it in the block below the exhaust manifold, Hopefully not behind the st...
All fuses are in the under hood fuse box. The lid is labeled.
There are literally hundreds of diagnostic codes that would cause the check engine light to come on. Many auto parts stores will check the codes for free and tell you what is needed to fix it.
