It is located about an inch to the right of the VTEC solenoid plug. It's basically a screw-in sensor, with a light blue or light green plug female plug. It's not common to see some h22a's with the sensor removed, and replaced with a bolt to plug it off. In order to use the correct ecu(p13, for ex...

In front of the drivers side front wheel. The left front wheel and the front portion of the plastic inner fender needs to be removed to gain access to the battery.
IF you are asking if the vehicle has a safety feature that shuts down the car if the oil pressure drops, the answer is no.
Disclaimer: I haven't worked specifically with the C13, but I've worked with several other models of Cat engines (and would never own anything made after the 6NZ, personally). In my experience, they've been in the side of the block on the left hand side of the engine, maybe just slightly past the...

Hey there. The two parts are different in their operation but performs the same function. The oil pressure sender is a variable resistor sensor that will increase and decrease resistance as the oil pressure goes up and down. The oil pressure switch will be a closed or open circuit.
If it has a mechanical brake light switch it is located somewhere on the brake pedal. Normally around the area where the pedal connects under the dash. If it has a pressure switch, it will be located somewhere on brake lines near the master cylinder.
After starting the engine, the oil pressure rises. The switch changes from either open or closed at a predetermined oil pressure, switching off the warning light. If oil pressure drops during operation, this light should come on, warning you of this dangerous situation for the engine (and your wa...
the oil pressure sensor, for a dash with idiot lights (no gauge), is located on the top of the engine at the back behind the distributor virtically screwed in. The oil guage sensor, for a dash with an oil gauge, is located above the oil filter on the drivers side of the engine screwed in horizont...
No, a sending unit is for a gauge, and the switch is for a warning light.
This sensor is usually located near the middle of the fuel rail and is linked to the engine control unit (ECU), which is the central computer of a vehicle. It shouldn't be confused with the fuel tank pressure sensor which is located inside or on top of the fuel tank.

Well it depends on the manufacturer. It is usually located on the side of the engine block. Alot of the time it is accessable from underneath, but if your engine bay is very large and you can see it, it may be accessable from above. Just look in your manual or just take a look in your engine bay.
the answer to this question depends greatly on just what it is you have one on, whether a Taurus, Caprice Classic, or a 1942 Potatoe Packing Machine. the oil pump, the pressure sensor, the pressure guage, and the idiot~light may all be located in many different locations irrelevant to one another....
