What size wrenches do a 1998 chevey blaZor fuel line take?
3/16 for a metal line. And rubber brake lines don't have sizes.
The automatic transmission drain plug for most Toyota vehicles is a 10x1.5 thread size, with a head (hex) size of 14mm. You can use a 14mm open end wrench, or a 14mm hex socket, whichever is easier.
Yes you can replace a brake line on that Jeep. Try to remove the bad line in one piece so you can bend the new one to match. Your local auto parts store can help you with the parts you will need. Bleed the system when you're done.
The socket wrench aka the ratchet is the most frequently used tool in the garage.Possibly the top dog in the garage, the socket wrench comes in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. Most common are the 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch and ½-inch ratchet drivers, but ¾-inch and 1-inch sets are available for heavy-...
Swap the fuel pump relay with another like relay in the fuse/relay center. If the problem with the fuel pump goes away, the relay was bad. If not, knowing GM fuel pumps, the fuel pump is the problem.
An 1 1/2" open end wrench will fit a little loose but works fine.
Those that fit the work in hand
If the drain plug is original equipment, it takes a 17mm wrench or socket.
If you are replacing the old sensors, you can cut off the wires at the sensor and slip a 7/8" box wrench over the sensor for removal. Use the open end 7/8" wrench to install the new one. Tighten the new sensor as you would a spark plug.
It's primary purpose is to return excess fuel from the carburetor to the fuel pump, however it serves other important functions as well.Aside from providing a path for excess fuel to return to the tank, the fuel return hose also prevents vapor lock and over pressurization from occurring within th...
Protect your fuel lines from getting hot.Heatshield Products Thermaflect Sleeve is an effective thermal barrier to protect exposed steel and rubber fuel lines in an engine compartment from ambient heat that would cause the fuel inside the lines to reach a high enough temperature to cause vapor lock.
regulates fuel presure at idle or under load so you dont get to much or too little fuel
always get the biggest that you can afford. stick with a name brand and don't forget to buy a water separator. spending $500.-$800 will get you there
I am not familiar with this car specifically. However, most starters are held in place by 2 or 3 bolts that go through the starter and into the transmission bell housing. You will likely need a 3/8 drive ratchet, possibly an extension or universal joint, and a range of sockets/wrenches anywhere f...
Be careful here. It is not an alen key or wrench as you put it. But is is a 19mm specialized key that can usually only be bought from a dealer or VW parts store.
A fuel vapor generator, preferably in a vehicle fuel tank, includes a fuel vapor collector connected in a return line between a pressure regulator and an in-tank fuel pump.A vapor outlet line (20) of the source of vaporized fuel is attached to the inlet fuel port (22) of the fuel processor (10,74).
I need a socket wrench set for taking stunt pegs off my bike. The pegs are aprox. 10cm long and have a circumference of 2.7cm. What are the metric sizes for the socket wrenches?
The drives are all in ASE measurements... 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", etc... you would probably need a 3/8" drive set, and a 'typical' socket set for those would typically include 10 - 18 mm sockets, although larger sockets can be had as part of specialty sets, although I'm having a little diffic...
The 1998 Chevrolet Silverado offers a 4.3 liter V-6 on most of its trim levels. The V-6 is capable of 200 horsepower. The Silverado also has a 5.0 liter V-8 which is capable of 230 horsepower. This engine is standard on the extended cab sportside models.
Return-style systems require fuel pumps to work all the time—it never shuts off as long as the engine's running, which can shorten the life of the pump.Your plumbing system can become more complicated because you have to run a separate return line from the regulator to the tank.
There is no set answer unless you can see where the original clips were located. Ideally the clips are used to keep vibration to a minimum thereby reducing the possibility of wearing through each other and/or frame, etc. I have seen them as close at 24 inches and as far as 36 inches apart. I woul...
it would have to be a 30 amp close to the battery
2010 Toyota Corolla.Need to know what size Oil Filter Cap Wrench to use to change the oil filter. The smallest one that the auto parts store had, 65/67mm, is a little bit too big.
A 3/8 inch Allen key is used.
i am guessing your talking about the drain plug and if so then yes an open end box end wrench or a socket and ratchet and some just require the ratchet only while others use Allen wrench, the size depends on the plugs head
Usually a bad or failing fuel hose will produce a few symptoms that can alert the driver of a potential problem. Fuel odor. One of the first symptoms of possible issue with fuel injection lines is a fuel odor coming from the vehicle. Engine misfires, hard starting, and stalling. Fuel leaks.
Probably a 10mm. A six point would be best.
A torx driver for 1998 Dakota tail light would be size 3157. It is really easy to put in.3157 would be the bulb size/number. The Torx driver would be a number 15 or 20.
It depends on the vehicle, some are easy, others are not so easy.
On a 94 jetta if the fuel lines are frozen up and not letting the car start Do you thaw the lines with gas line antifreeze If so how long would it take to thaw?
The gas line antifreeze will not thaw the lines out ,a person will have to place the vehicle in a situation where the car will warm up to a point that the ice melts on its own . the dry gas is only a preventive item .
It is much better to have a safe tank than one that is a fire hazard. Some fuel leaks happen because of a small hole in the fuel tank.A fuel leak does have a gasoline smell to it, and the gasoline does contain carbon monoxide. This chemical is dangerous when inhaled, and can cause cold and flulike ...
Any fuel which is released from the valve is passed through the fuel return line back to the tank. There are two types of returnless systems - Mechanical and electrical.Mechanical returnless systems simply relocate the pressure regulating valve into the fuel tank, directly after the pump.
It's a standard 1/8 inch steel line for most of the way, gets larger rubber at the front calipers.
I do believe the biggest is 19"I have 18" American racing wheels on my zx2 and theyare rather snug, but may have room for an extra inch while still being able to turn in a full spectrum. Good Luck.
Clogged Fuel Line Symptoms Trouble Starting. The fuel line is part of the fuel system, so the first sign of a clogged or blocked fuel line is difficulty starting the car. Smoke in the Car. Smoke in the car is a dangerous sign of a clogged fuel line. Engine Switching Off.
Getting rid of water in a fuel system Drain the fuel tank. If you suspect water in your gas tank, some car models have a drain on the fuel tank that you can use to get the fuel out of the tank. Pull the gas tank. Replace the fuel filter. Clean out the fuel lines. Buy gas from a reputable ...

The hose cut has to be clean and not frayed. Use a hammer and sharp chisel on concrete. Wrap line in elec. tape and cut through it. Thread hex part onto hose until it bottoms out with an wrench or soft jawed crescent. Then simply thread nipple part into it.
The process will vary between models. The lines should be fit into the tank tightly, with no gaskets. There may be an internal filter in the tank, it plugs on the end of the suction line. The other ends of the lines slide tightly onto the carburetor fittings.

The large line is generally the low pressure side.
They are capable of covering the dragstrip in less than 3.7 seconds at more than 330 mph.Powered by a supercharged and fuel-injected 500-cubic-inch adaptation of the famed Chrysler Hemi engine, Top Fuel dragsters can burn up to 15 gallons of nitromethane fuel during a single run.
Measure the shaft.Spanner wrenches come in various sizes from 4 inches to 18 inches in length. To determine what size spanner wrench you have, measure from the end of the handle to the edge of the fixed side of the vise. Some spanner wrenches have the size printed on the handle.Set the opening.
The short answer is a return-style system, given its mechanical simplicity and consistency. It's an easy question to answer on vehicles that already have a fuel return line…or at least the routing room for one.Retrofitting a returnless system can get expensive, requiring a new pump, regulator, and...
Go to an auto parts store web site and look up the fuel filter for your Tahoe. It will show a picture of it.picture for a fuel filter for a Tahoe
On a cold engine I unhook the battery ground and then (if you are changing a fuel filter) just loosen it to relieve pressure. No matter where you relieve pressure, there will be spillage so use a drip pan. As long as the battery is disconnected the chance of fire is greatly reduced. There is a sc...
Go to the auto parts and ask for that specific tool, it is not expensive. Just push's on, and it will release the spring.
When an engine is idling, it may be pulling 20 inHg of vacuum, which translates to roughly 10psi.The reference to the regulator will allow it to adjust and lower the pressure in the rail to 48psi, resulting in 58psi effective pressure, which is the same as the base pressure.
Open the fuel door.If you have a release lever or button inside your car, release the door to check.Look for a label on the fuel door or by the fuel filler neck. You should find a label that says “Diesel Fuel Only” or “Unleaded Gasoline Only,” or similar wording.
It's sorta like doing one of those tavern puzzles. I've done a couple 2000 Silverados but not sure how to explain it. The fuel tank has to come out. I remember unbolting the ABS Module off of the frame but leaving all the brakes lines attached. Then pull the ABS unit away from the frame far enoug...
For a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 extended cab, there are two different sizes of speakers. The front speakers are 6x9 and the rear are 5-1/4.
Look on the drivers side door post or the door and there is a sticker with that information.
Your local auto parts store can sell or rent you an inexpensive tool that disconnects the fuel line.
It should be located at the rear of the vehicle, attached to the frame rail near the fuel tank, you will have to use fuel connector release tool to free the hoses, but not before you have relieved the pressure on the line. You can then undo the strap holding the filter on and swap out the new one...
Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the service port on the fuel rail.
This is a flexible fuel vehicle so you can theoretically use E85 or Regular Unleaded Fuel. For the very best performance use exactly what is recommended in your owner's manual. If it says use Regular, then use regular. The use of a higher octane than recommended is a waste of money and will provi...
