A fuel vapor generator, preferably in a vehicle fuel tank, includes a fuel vapor collector connected in a return line between a pressure regulator and an in-tank fuel pump.

A vapor outlet line (20) of the source of vaporized fuel is attached to the inlet fuel port (22) of the fuel processor (10,74).
