How to Fix a Car that Randomly Dies while Driving
What is wrong when car cuts off in middle of driving and restarts after you turn car off remove key then restarts?
Yes but I don't take the key out it just restarts
I've seen where cars suck water into the intake and into the cylinders. Because water will not compress it hydro locks the engine and breaks the connecting rod (s). Remove the spark plugs, check for water in the cylinders, try putting a power bar and socket on the crank shaft and turn the engine ...

because the car thinks it overheating so it shuts down to prevent damage to the motor
How to Handle It When Your Car Stalls
I would check the ignition system. Warmed engine stalls can be caused by a failing ignition coil or coil pack. Pull a plug wire, crank over the engine, and evaluate the color of the spark with engine cold and engine hot. Snappy blue at cold and weak yellow (or none) at hot and it's time for a fre...
Why does your fuel injection act like it is flooded when you start the car after it has been setting for an half hour or longer?
It's usually the Coolant Temperature Sensor. You know you gotta give the engine some more gas when it's cold if you want it to start. The mechanism to do this on a carbureted engine ranges from the bulb on the side of a lawnmower carb (push five times to start) to a nifty little pump that's contro...

How To NEVER Stall A Manual Car Again - Clutch Control Tips
If by optional items you mean warranties credit life and gap then I can help with your answer. The catch 22 is that if you ...
Mostly that's when it happens. Your car might start a bit more slowly than it should in that case because the fuel rail has to be repressurized since the fuel has all leaked out through leaky injectors.
If the odometer in a car reads zero at the beginning of a trip and 50km a half an hour later what is the average speed?
If a car travels 50 km in a half hour, it would travel 100 km in one hour. Therefore, a car traveling 50 km in a half hour is averaging 100 km per hour.
The fan is electric and is controlled by a thermoswitch in the radiator. When you turn the engine off the fan keeps running to prevent boilover until the coolant in the radiator cools off. Then it should switch off automatically. If it does not either the radiator thermoswitch or the fan motor re...

he car swells with pride after beating the other car off the start is an example of a metaphor and personification because the car likely did not actually swell and pride is a feeling, and cars cannot feel.
Knowing the year, make, model and engine info would help us greatly.
Fan remained on for an hour after turning off motor . disected the battery to shut off fan. never turned back on?
Engine Temperature Sensor Doesn't Work.
When you say it won't stop running - do you mean that after the normal allotted time of 5-10 minutes it still continues to run? Many car fans will run about 5-10 minutes but not necessarily longer. Depending on the make/model of your vehicle - you may want to call the dealer for any "recalls" on ...
As the tyre rotates, friction between the tyre and road plus the radiant heat from the brakes causes the pressure to rise in the tyre. You can get blow off valves that are set to a given pressure and will release any excess. Tyre pressures should always be adjusted cold.
Tires create friction, which in turn creates heat. Heated objects expand.
this is called dieseling and it could be a number of things. but your idle speed may be too high. or your ignition timing is wrong. if the engine is older then it may be that you have too much carbon build up in the combustion chambers. that requires removing the heads.
if it won't start at all after running it could be vapor locked. try opening the gas cap for a minute and see if that works.
After going some deep water in a Jeep 4 x4 the car stalled and after numerous attempts restarted but with a terrible clattering sound emanating from the petrol engine what could be the problem?
you have done damage to the crank/pistons, expect an engine replacement ,sounds like hydro-loc normally happens to diesel though

The engine died after accompanying yr wife practice driving more than one hour U also felt that the car trembling severely when decelerated U restarted the car after 2 minutes?
Um, your question is worded poorly, so try to slow down on the typing, but a trembling on deceleration can be a few things. If it's one shudder when throttle is released, then check motor mounts. If it's a vibration in-sync with wheel speed, you may wish to check the condition of the brake rotors...

well it could be more than likely the flywheel is loose or warped check that first
Because in India they drive on the left not on the right as we do in the U.S. This comes from the fact that India was a former British colony and in Great Britain they drive on the left. If you drive on the left the steering wheel will be fitted on the left.

What would cause a car to lose power and jerk when slowing down after driving a couple of hours followed by stalling?
Even though this problem can be caused by many things, here are a few possibilities; 1. Bad ignition control module 2. bad crankshaft position sensor 3. fuel pump is going bad and/or clogged fuel filter 4. faulty electronic control module(ecm/computer)-more than likely not this but still a possib...

Why would my temp gauge shows the car not hearing up why does the car has heat how come fans run after car is off?
In most engines the gauge and cooling fans have different senders, so if you have good hot air blowing inside the car from the heating system and the cooling fans on the radiator are operating, and still no gauge reading, you may have the wire disconnected from the temp. sender. The cooling fans ...

How do you turn off or disconnect permanently the ABS light in a 1996 Honda Accord V6 that comes on within 10-15 sec after turning on the engine?
The light is on because there is a problem with the ABS. It will go off after you have the system repaired. Now if you do not wish to repair the ABS then you will still have normal braking but possibly without ABS. You can either remove the ABS light bulb or place a piece of black tape over it. c...

In parking garage - car A reversing from spot - half way out of spot car B comes around the corner - the cars collide - rear of car A and front of car B - who's at fault?
Car A is at fault b/c Car B has the rightaway.
If you could supply a little more information maybe someone can help... Make, Model, car's age, gas or diesel etc.
It could be the throttle body that needs to be cleaned ( easy lookup for throttle body cleaning in google ). Or maybe car needs timing, have a look at your distributor and spark plugs / see if all cylinders have good compression as last option.

What causes the dashboard light to stay on after your car has been turned off? 1994 Buick Century.
The fuel cutoff switch has a problem. It is ocated in the right rear quarter in the luggage compartment. You might even find the switch submerged in water. That happens sometimes due to a plugged drain hole in the bottom of the panel.

If the Tesla Roadster battery holds 53 kWh of electricity and the motor uses 185 kW how is the car able to keep going for more than half an hour?
185 kW is the motors peak output, or what the motor will gobble up with your foot flat to the floor. On a drive the motor will on average only be using a fraction of the peak power, hence the longer range. The Tesla and many other electric vehicles also use regenerative braking, where the motor a...
What could cause the temperature warning light to come on after about 15 seconds from starting on an A4 2.6?

They help prevent injuries to the occupants. In an accident, the contents of the vehicle, including the people in it, are thrown around violently. While you can still receive an injury from contact with the dashboard, the padding reduces the severity.
Why would a automatic 92 celica suddenly go into neutral shifter still in drive and when car is turned off re-started car after 30 seconds crank up and run good repeats back into the neutral?
there is a small sensor under the lever which tells the cars computer on which position the lever is. The sensor may have broken down so it is reading you are in neutral while you are still in the drive position. It is a cheap fix.
What is the red warning light that looks like an exclamation mark within a horseshoe on my mini cooper?
