For a 1981 fairmont with a straight 6 to a 302 what motor mounts to use?

Cars & Vehicles

unfortunately you have to change the cross member, remove the crossmember from the six cylinder fairmont and replace with a crossmember from a 4 or 8 cylinder faimont or mercury zepher, the four and eight cylinde crossmembers are exactly the same, then standard fairmont engine mounts will bolt up. this info is garunteed 100 percent . as there is nothing about the ford fairmont that I do not know. had them for 26 years and have done fram up restorations on 7 of these autos. sincerely MDQ..
