The motor oil in a stored or unused vehicle is not up in the engine where it should be. I witnessed the destruction of many engines by buyers at auto auctions revving up and blowing the engines of cars that were on sale. Yopu get it cranked up - let it idle a 1/2 hour and change the oil.
