The whole mechanism needs lubricated, it is getting stuck
If I read you right, the power brake booster is is leaking vacuum when applied. Take the car to a trusted mechanic soon.
What changes have been made to the car? Is the Rad cooling fan still wired original or wired so comes on with ignition? Added a stereo or any equipment? If so disconnect one at a time and see if this fixes it.
It is the RPM Sensor or sometimes called the Crank Position Sensor.
Depends on how you define performance. As for speed, the Bugatti Veyron Gran Sport cannot be matched my any other convertible. Handling wise, there are any number of ultra high performance convertibles, including the Porsche Turbo Cabriolet and the Mercedes-McLaren SLR Roadster.
I can't answer the question, however if you have an "Auto-Zone" parts shop in your area they will check it and turn it off for free. Or you might check with your local Major Parts store like Pep Boys or others. They have the tester and can tell you the problem and disengage the signal.
