NO SPARK TO DISTRIBUTOR CAR WILL TURN OVER BUT WONT START 95 FORD PROBE
Sure, I currently have the tranny out of my 95 GT and all that is keeping the engine from falling to the ground is the right side engine mount and a support brace I installed across the strut towers. Understand however that you would need to lift the bottom of the "bumper" up about 3.5 to 4ft giv...
to love dirty pie to love dirty pie to love dirty pie
OK Finally! My 95 Ford Probe mysteriously would not start. We then checked the resistance on the distributor, it did Not have resistance. ( My Distributor was still under warranty. After putting in a NEW Distributor, it still would NOT start. I then searched this website and found other people ha...
hi! i had the same problem on my '94 SE and it was caused by the distributor.
The fuel cutoff switch has a problem. It is ocated in the right rear quarter in the luggage compartment. You might even find the switch submerged in water. That happens sometimes due to a plugged drain hole in the bottom of the panel.
On the bottom of the tranny catch pan. You will have to remove the gasket seal with 12 screws then the filter is right there.
YES! The 1995 Ford Probe 2.0L, & 2.2L inline 4 cylinder are Interference engines. Also the 2.5L V6 is an interference engine. All engines require replacement of the cam belt at 60,000 miles. Failure to do so, can result in engine damage if the belt breaks.
it looks like a Saturn kinda. there sporty low to the ground and have flip up lights
All CV shafts are held in by a retaining clip on the end of the inboard CV joint.
I think you are wanting to know the horsepower of a Ford Probe. But as you fail to list the year or engine size, it is impossible to provide an answer.
yes you can just give Jam Sport a call on 01604 75 55 29 and they will be able to sort out a price for you. our just vist there web site on www.jam-sport.co.uk Hope this has helped chris
Most likely the clutch is shot. When the clutch plate can't engage with the transmission there will be slippage between the engine and the drive wheels.
I'd take her to a schucks, checker, Kragen, or CSK and plug the diagnostic computer in to car and see what she needs. my guess is it's a bad sensor somewhere.
open the trunk and take the black plastic cover off from the top of the tail light (it just pulls of) undo the one screw on the top and then slide the hole tail light to the outside of the car and the clips should all slide out.
If you crimp the three wires running to the inertia switch together and remove the switch, it will close the circuit thus bypassing the swich. I have a 1993 Ford Probe SE that this has been done to and as of yet it has no direct or indirect complications from doing this. If you crimp the three wi...

there a screw either ontop of the headlight under the hood, or the screw is towards the bottom of the headlight. if im not mistakin its a star-head/10m bolt in one. can either use a star head screw-driver or a socket
How big was the puddle. If u dont have a bypass valve then yes u have water in your engine
Your Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) has a problem and is disabled. The light will remain on until it's repaired.
Yes, But there is A lot of work and parts to change too. Tranny wiring harness most accessories motor and trans mounts computer You pretty much need to take everything out from under the hood and the computer and wiring and change it from one car to the other.
Start by figuring out what the deficiency is. You could be looking at something as simple as a broken wire, or having to replace the window motor..... if you want to waste money throwing parts at it, that's your business.... otherwise, you diagnose it to narrow down the issue, then you make your ...
the correct alighnment is at TDC marked on crankshaft pulley = groove in tail end of both cam,s vertical with the pulley dowels uppermost on both cam,s = no 1 lead on distributer firing. cam pulleys are universal inlet cam should use the I and respectivly the exaust will use EX to identify locati...
On the 96 Se the computer should be located on the drivers side, behind the fuse panel. Remove the side interior panel, then loosen the bolts that hold the fuse panel so that you can get to the plastic box with a lot of wires hooked up to it. They are snap-fit connectors like the rest of them. On...
Your 1994 Ford Probe sounds as if it needs a tune-up. The reason for the rough idling and poor acceleration could also be very old motor oil, a very dirty air filter, or clogged fuel lines. It is best to bring the car in for service.
The 1996 Ford Probe SE that has a rough idle can be fixed by locating the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) Sensor and replacing any damaged wires. The EFI or Electronic Fuel Injector can also be the problem. The engines of today no longer have an adjustment screw to turn to set the idle.
First start by removing the elecrtical plug, then remove the coil and spark plug wires. Now losen the valve cover bolts(don't worry the gasket reseals upon reassembly) now remove the two bolts that hold the distributor against the head, now gently slide the distributor out , do not under any circ...
Its called torque steer and it happens to all front drive cars to some extent. The drive shafts coming from the tranny are of unequal length, long on one side and short on the other because the transmission needs to mounted on the side of the engine bay behind the motor. When you stomp on the gas...
sounds like you have changed the filter on the bottom of the fuel pump and when you turn to the right the gas goes away froom the pick up.then when you make the cruve the gas comes back where it can pick it up try filling the tank up if it does it with a full tank of gas this is not what is wrong
abought 8 hours if everything gose good drive safe
Valve Camshaft Wheels/Pulley(s) = 50-60nm, Bearings Over Valves = 11-14nm ... by the way this engine only has a single head not two...
To begin with, the rear brakes may be out of adjustment. Try backing the vehicle up at a comfortable speed, and then tapping the brakes firmly. Repeat several times, and see if this affects the hand brake operation. If not, the cable between the lever and the brake actuators may need to be tighte...
yes take the vin number to department of motor vehicles and trace it from there
