You could try removing a door lock, bring to a locksmith to have key made - should be the same as ignition
I think the base, SS, ran about $3000. All greased up, with over 500 horses, and ready to race, about $3800.
Does it have airbags ? If not the centre of the steering wheel will have a removable badge or logo, remove this and you will see a nut that needs to be loosened with a wrench/socket
If no key, you'll have to destroy the cardboard glove box and to access the lock bracket....remove the upper bracket that the lock grabs onto located at the mid-top of the opening...may need to do a little prying....or remove the lock from the backside.
the biggest engine i can recall was the 454 ci and that was when it was right off of the assembly line it could also have a 350 Chevy
It will bolt in the same as any big block Chev
take the exhaust manifolds to a machine shop ask to have the mating surface that contacts the cylinder head to be machined ,phone a shop and they will know what this means usually 45 a manifold
The battery cable on the positive side goes to the starter. The purple wire goes from the ignition switch to the neutral safety switch then down to the starter. On the solenoid the is a "R" and that is where the wire from the coil goes. The "R" means resistor
the edelbrock website should have that info.
take hoses off it on the firewall and then unbolt all the bolts from the outside of the heater housing on the firewall and the inside heater case will now come down up under the dash, when you get it down you will see the heater core inside the case, pull it out and install new one and then rever...
